This is a place for the unhidden.

This isn’t a platform for spiritual performance. It’s an altar—for those who are done pretending, but not done with God.

I’m not a theologian. I’m not offering answers wrapped in certainty. I’m just a guy named Chris whose faith collapsed under the weight of hustle and hollow religion. And when the smoke cleared, I found something still burning—grace.

I still believe. But not in checklists, platforms, or pressure.
I believe in the Spirit of the living God, who writes on hearts, not stone. (2 Corinthians 3:3)
I believe in the Word that doesn’t flatter, but pierces—dividing soul and spirit, exposing the thoughts and intentions we hide. (Hebrews 4:12)

That’s why this space exists.

At Bare Altar, I reflect on Scripture—Job, Paul, Moses, Jesus. I write from collapse and reconstruction, from silence and revelation. I write for those who want to bring their whole selves to God—not to be seen, but to be searched.

If that’s you—welcome.
You’ve found holy ground.
Not because it’s clean, but because it’s honest.

Stick around. Read. Let the fire do its work.

Reach Out.

If something here spoke to you, I’d love to hear.
I can’t promise quick replies, but I will read every message.
